TrekkSoft Pricing Explained

A subscription billed annually, fees that differ by channel, and a gateway fee on top — each worth understanding separately.

TrekkSoft has been selling booking software to tour and activity operators since 2010 and is now part of the Tourism Software Group. Its pricing has more moving parts than most: a subscription, booking fees that differ between direct, marketplace and offline bookings, and a payment gateway fee if you use its integrated payments. Each part is reasonable on its own; together they make the headline monthly price a poor guide to what you will pay.

Everything below comes from TrekkSoft's own pricing page, checked in September 2026, with the arithmetic done at a €60 booking so you can see how the parts combine.

Plans and booking fees

Plan Monthly, billed annually Direct online Marketplace Offline
Starter€493%3%, min €0.50€1.50
Accelerate€1492.5%2.5%, min €0.50€1.00
Ultimate€2492%2%, min €0.50€0.50

Enterprise is priced on request. TrekkSoft defines direct online bookings as those made through its own booking engine, typically on your website; marketplace bookings as those from OTAs and marketplaces such as Viator, GetYourGuide and Expedia; and offline bookings as those entered at its point of sale, mobile app or back office.

The marketplace minimum deserves attention if you sell low-priced tickets. It applies whenever the percentage comes to less than €0.50 — on bookings under about €16.67 on Starter, €20 on Accelerate and €25 on Ultimate. On a €10 ticket sold through a marketplace on Starter, the fee is €0.50, which is 5% of the price rather than 3%.

Payment processing

TrekkSoft's integrated payment gateway charges 2.5% plus €0.25 per transaction for operators in Europe, and 3% plus €0.25 elsewhere. American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions carry 4% plus €0.25. On a €60 booking in Europe that is €1.75, on top of the booking fee.

Every booking system involves processing costs of some kind, so this is not an extra in itself. What matters is choice. On Starter and Accelerate the integrated gateway is Payyo; Ultimate adds PayPal and Stripe. If you already have a favourable processing rate, check whether you could keep it on the plan you are considering — our payment gateway guide covers how to compare rates.

What each plan includes

  • All plans: unlimited user accounts, a booking widget and website builder, point of sale and a mobile point-of-sale app, rental items, add-ons, discount codes, resource management, a channel manager and marketplace connections.
  • Starter limits: 50 activity listings, 10 agent accounts, one hour of onboarding training, monthly payouts.
  • Accelerate adds: 80 listings and unlimited agents, TrekkSoft's partner network, private activities, down payments, book-now-pay-later, package deals, digital waivers, gift card sales and three hours of training.
  • Ultimate adds: unlimited listings, a dedicated account manager, full API access, Zapier, a choice of payment gateways, business insights by channel, weekly payouts and five hours of training.

Total cost at different volumes

At €60 per booking, all taken directly online, with booking fees absorbed and payment processing counted separately:

Subscription plus booking fees 50 a month 200 500
Starter€139€409€949
Accelerate€224€449€899
Ultimate€309€489€849

Because the percentage falls as you move up, the cheapest plan changes with volume. Each step up costs €100 a month more and saves half a percentage point, so it pays for itself at about €20,000 a month of direct online bookings — roughly 333 bookings at €60. The lower offline fee does the same at about 200 offline bookings a month. Starter is cheapest at 50 bookings; Ultimate is cheapest at 500.

Real businesses mix channels. At 200 bookings a month — 100 direct, 60 through marketplaces and 40 offline — the totals are €397 on Starter, €429 on Accelerate and €461 on Ultimate, before processing. Using the integrated gateway on the 160 online bookings would add €280 a month in Europe.

To work out your own figure, take last year's bookings and split them three ways: direct online, marketplace and offline, each with its average value. Apply each plan's fees to each group, flag any marketplace bookings under the minimum-fee threshold, add twelve months of subscription, and add processing if you would use the integrated gateway. Do it for all three plans; with fees this layered, the cheapest plan is rarely obvious until the numbers are in front of you.

Billing, renewals and support

TrekkSoft's pricing page shows its plans billed annually: €588, €1,788 or €2,988 a year for Starter, Accelerate and Ultimate. That favours businesses that can commit to a year and plan cash flow around one payment; a very seasonal operator paying up front for the full year should factor that in.

Its help centre records a list-price increase applied from renewal dates on or after July 2023, along with a switch of older US-dollar subscriptions to euros — a reminder to ask how renewal pricing is set. Ask too about the minimum term and cancellation. On support, onboarding training rises from one hour on Starter to five on Ultimate, and only Ultimate includes a dedicated account manager.

Before signing, ask:

  • What is the minimum term, and what happens if I need to cancel mid-year?
  • How is my price set at renewal?
  • Can I move between plans during the year as my volume changes?
  • Which gateway rates apply to the cards my guests actually use?
  • How are bookings from each of my marketplaces classified and charged?

When it fits, and when to look elsewhere

TrekkSoft fits businesses that value an all-in-one setup: integrated payments and point of sale, rentals, private activities and waivers, unlimited users on every plan, and — from Accelerate — unlimited agents and a partner network for reselling. For a larger European operator with steady volume, Ultimate's lower percentage and weekly payouts can make it competitive.

It fits less well where the combination of an annual subscription, a percentage on every channel and a separate gateway fee adds up faster than the business grows: smaller or very seasonal operators, businesses selling many low-priced tickets through marketplaces, and anyone who wants to keep an existing payment processor without moving to the top plan. Our TrekkSoft alternative guide compares options.

For reference, Travelity is billed month to month at $39 for five users, $139 for ten or $399 with no user limit, plus a 1.9% fee on bookings made online and none on bookings you record yourself. Prices are in different currencies, so convert at the current rate before comparing totals, and weigh TrekkSoft's unlimited users on every plan against the user limits on our smaller plans. The pricing comparison shows how to run the numbers.
