Rezdy vs Rezometry: Day Tours vs Multi-Day Operations

Similar names, different jobs. The right choice depends less on features than on how long your trips last and how you sell them.

Rezdy and Rezometry often turn up in the same search, and the names invite comparison. In practice they solve different problems. Rezdy is built to sell scheduled day tours and activities through as many channels as possible. Rezometry is built to run multi-day trips assembled from hotels, transport, guides and activities supplied by other businesses.

This guide compares them on the things that decide the choice — what each is built for, how each charges, how they handle distribution and suppliers — and covers the operators who sit somewhere in between.

Two different jobs

Rezdy is a booking and distribution platform for tours, activities, attractions, charters, rentals and shuttles. Its center of gravity is the channel manager: Rezdy says it connects operators to more than 25,000 resellers, lists GetYourGuide, Viator, Klook and Google among its partners, and gives every plan access to a marketplace of over 12,000 agents. The core unit is a session — a departure with capacity, sold by many parties at once.

Rezometry describes itself as all-in-one software for multi-day tour operators, DMCs and wholesalers, and has been in the business since 1990. It covers FIT and custom itineraries, small groups, scheduled departures, coach tours and packages. The core unit is the trip: a sequence of components from different suppliers, each with its own contract rate, confirmation and payment schedule, sold at a price you build on top.

Pricing models side by side

From each company's own website, checked in October 2026:

Rezdy Rezometry
Monthly fee $49 / $99 / $249 Flat fee, not published
Online bookings 3%, absorbed or passed to guests No percentage fee
Offline or agent bookings $1 / $0.85 / $0.70 each No percentage fee
How you start 21-day free trial, no card Demo, then a quote
Commitment No lock-in contract Ask

Rezdy also includes unlimited products, users and agents on every plan, and keeps API access and webhooks for Expansion. Rezometry includes training and support in its fee. For Rezometry, ask for the monthly figure, any setup or customization charges, and the contract term in writing before you compare.

Why ticket value changes the math

A percentage fee scales with the price of what you sell, not the work the software does. For a $60 day tour, 3% is $1.80 — small next to the convenience of a channel manager. For a $3,000 multi-day trip it is $90, and the software has done no more work to earn it.

Twenty $3,000 trips a month is $60,000 in online sales. On Rezdy Foundation that costs $1,849 a month. On Travelity Starter, at 1.9%, it is $1,179. A flat monthly fee will very likely beat both, which is the core of Rezometry's pricing argument and a fair one. If your average booking runs into the thousands, get a flat-fee quote and put it next to these numbers.

Feature fit: channels, itineraries, suppliers

  • Channel management. Rezdy's strength. It is built to push live availability to marketplaces and agents and let them sell your departures. Rezometry names Viator and Ventrata among its integrations and says it connects tours to websites, OTAs and B2B partners, but distribution is not its center of gravity.
  • Itineraries. Rezometry's strength. It builds custom and fixed multi-day itineraries and packages, and produces branded quotes, itineraries, invoices and vouchers. Rezdy sells packages and extras from Accelerate, but a multi-day trip is not its native unit.
  • Supplier management. Rezometry manages supplier contracts, net and sell pricing, allotments, vendor requests and confirmations, and the payables you owe each supplier, with integrated accounting. Rezdy is built around your own inventory rather than other suppliers' and does not position itself as a contracting system.
  • Payments from guests. Both handle online payments. Rezometry emphasizes deposits, installments and final balances with automated reminders — the payment rhythm of a trip booked months ahead. Rezdy offers its own payment gateway and dozens of others.

Put simply: Rezdy helps you sell the same departure through many channels. Rezometry helps you assemble a trip from many suppliers and keep the money straight on both sides.

Operators in the middle

Plenty of businesses do both. A Tbilisi operator might sell day trips to Kazbegi on GetYourGuide while quoting week-long private tours to families by email. A Bali company runs airport transfers, Ubud day tours and the occasional five-day itinerary. For them, Rezdy leaves the custom quoting uncovered, and Rezometry's supplier and accounting depth may be more than they need.

That middle is what a mid-market platform with a trip proposal builder is for. It needs to sync day tours with the marketplaces, turn an inquiry into a priced proposal the guest can adjust and pay online, and run the vehicles and guides on the day. What it usually will not do is replace a DMC back-office system — supplier contracts, payables and a general ledger. Our guide to DMC booking software explains where that line sits.

Decision framework by business type

  • Day tours and activities, selling through marketplaces and agents: Rezdy. Its reseller network is the main reason to choose it.
  • Multi-day FIT, group, coach or package trips built from many suppliers: Rezometry. Contracts, allotments and payables are the work, and a flat fee suits high trip values.
  • DMCs and wholesalers working B2B: Rezometry, or another dedicated DMC system, for the back office.
  • A mix of day tours, transfers and custom quotes, mostly with your own vehicles and guides: a mid-market platform such as Travelity, provided you do not need supplier contracting and accounting in the same system.

One test settles most cases: list last year's bookings and mark which were single-day departures and which were multi-day trips with outside suppliers. The larger column tells you which kind of system you need.

Can you run both?

Some larger operators do: a multi-day system for the trips and their suppliers, and a separate booking platform for day tours sold on the marketplaces. It works, but it means two sets of customer records, two payment flows and two places to check availability when a day tour also appears inside a multi-day itinerary.

Before splitting, check whether one system can carry the smaller side of your business well enough. Rezometry lists Viator and Ventrata among its connections, which may cover a modest day-tour catalog. Going the other way, ask whether a booking platform's package or proposal tools are enough for the multi-day trips you actually sell.

Questions to ask in the demo

  • Of Rezdy: how bookings from each marketplace and agent are classified for fees, and which channels carry their own commission on top.
  • Of Rezometry: the monthly figure, what customization costs, the contract term, and which marketplaces it connects to live rather than by manual update.
  • Of both: how a booking taken months ahead handles a deposit and a balance due later, and how a change to one component flows through to the guest's documents.
  • Of any vendor: to rebuild one of your real trips in the demo, not a sample product.

How Travelity helps

Travelity sits in that middle. Its Trip Proposal Builder sends guests a shareable link where they review the itinerary and price, add pickup points, extras and participants, accept your terms, upload documents and confirm or pay. Day-tour availability stays in step across GetYourGuide, Viator, Trip.com and Google Things to Do, and on the day itself the operations view puts every departure, vehicle, driver and guide on a single schedule. The Tour Package Builder comes with Professional; the B2B partner portal and AI itinerary builder with Enterprise.

Plans start at $39 a month, with no cap on products or bookings, a 1.9% fee on bookings taken online and none on bookings you enter yourself; compare plans. Where the others are stronger, we will say so: Rezdy's reseller network is far larger, and Travelity does not manage supplier contracts, payables or accounting the way Rezometry does. You can test all of this on your own trips: onboarding costs nothing and the 21-day trial asks for no card.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Rezdy and Rezometry?

Rezdy is built for day tours and activities sold through a website and a large network of resellers and marketplaces. Rezometry is built for multi-day operators, DMCs and wholesalers who assemble trips from many suppliers and need contracts, payables and accounting. They overlap less than their names suggest.

How much does Rezometry cost?

Rezometry does not publish a price. Its website describes a flat monthly fee with no percentage fees on bookings, with training and support included, and quotes are given after a demo. Ask for the monthly fee, any setup or customization charges, and the contract term in writing.

How much does Rezdy cost?

Rezdy’s pricing page lists Foundation at $49, Accelerate at $99 and Expansion at $249 a month. Every plan adds 3% per online booking, which you can absorb or pass on to guests, plus a flat $1, $0.85 or $0.70 per offline or agent booking. There is a 21-day free trial and no lock-in contract.

Which is better for tour companies, Rezdy or Rezometry?

For day tours and activities that depend on marketplaces and resellers, Rezdy fits better. For multi-day, FIT, group or package trips built from many suppliers, Rezometry fits better. Operators with a mix of day tours, transfers and custom multi-day quotes may find a mid-market platform that covers both sides adequately is the simpler choice.

Is a percentage booking fee expensive for multi-day tours?

It can be. On a $3,000 multi-day booking, a 3% fee is $90 and a 1.9% fee is $57, every time. At twenty such bookings a month, those percentages cost far more than most flat monthly fees. For high-value trips, a flat-fee model usually costs less, so compare a written quote against your own booking values.

Bottom line

Choose Rezdy to sell departures through as many channels as possible. Choose Rezometry to assemble multi-day trips from many suppliers and keep both sides of the money in one system.

If you do some of each and run your own vehicles and guides, a mid-market platform with a trip proposal builder is worth a trial before you commit to either extreme. Start by counting last year's bookings by type, and let the count decide.
